Will The Chic Magnet damage or erase my credit card?
With any magnetism, being airport screening, another credit card or repeated use, your magnetic strip can be affected. However, it is unlikely. The Chic Magnet has been thoroughly tried & tested. The magnetic current has a strong but limited field. Unless you have repeated close use or direct contact with a credit/debit card it is safe.
Will The Chic Magnet damage the automatic door device on my key ring?
No! There has never been a report of a damaged automatic door device.
If I change purses, can The Chic Magnet be removed and used on my new bag?
Yes! Like every handbag has its own personality so does each Chic Magnet. It is easily removed without damage to linings and can be used to accessorize another bag.
Can The Chic Magnet work on any handbag, purse or backpack?
No. Although it works through most linings, if your bag is more than ¼" thick (such as straw or woven purses) the magnets will not be able to secure properly and may come apart. In this case the magnets can be placed on an inside pocket or fold of the bag.
